New collection fabrics for 2016: velvety-soft, and simply stunning

We are absolutely over the moon to be launching our latest fabric collection - Velour - in three bright and beautiful colourways: Teal, Tangerine and Lime. 

Velour Teal - we just love this colour - a little bit blue, a little bit green depending on the light but lush however you look at it!

Velour Tangerine - really zingy - perfect for a fabulous injection of colour into your home

And Velour Lime - OMG!

While a fabric in three colours may look like and easy thing to put together, we have been searching for the right velvety fabric for five years! We started in 2011 when Jenny decided she would love a velvet dog bed, and we finally found the right fabric in 2015! 

Why did it take so long? Because it had to be perfect! It had to be super-soft and velvety and lush to touch - really lush. It had to look stunning - really stunning. It had to have a beautiful sheen without being too shiny. It had to be an upholstery grade fabric, robust enough to upholster armchairs and sofas. It had to be amazing quality - heavy enough to feel "right" but not too stiff to drape nicely. And on top of all of this, it had to be machine washable too. It took us four years to find "the one" and another year to test and launch the fabric! 

We've launched Velour in our Snuggle Bed range but Deeply Dishy Beds and Day Bed Mattresses will follow in April - with a beautiful twist!
