We launched our Bliss Bolster Bed in 2020 to celebrate Charley Chau's 10th birthday and it has been a huge hit with our canine customers from a comfort perspective, and with our human customers who actively conscious about their purchasing decisions and prefer to take a "buy well, buy once" approach.

The marvellous Memory Foam Mattress Base with Anti-Microbial Protector
Key to any good dog bed is the mattress and our memory foam base is a unique, layered foam mattress made to Charley Chau's exacting specifications with a layer of Vasco 40 foam on top that moulds to support your dog's body (the yellow layer), and a layer of support foam on the bottom to prevent any "thudding" through the floor when a dog stands, jumps or drops on the bed suddenly with force, protecting your dog from the floor. Our foam manufacturer is one of the leading suppliers of memory foam for human beds in the UK.
Our marvellous Memory Foam Mattress can be lifted out of the Bliss Bolster Bed and used without the bolster nest as a mattress on it's own - perfect for travelling!
A cosy bolster nest filled with ethically sourced duck feathers
The bolster nest is filled with four ethically-sourced duck-feather pads and creates a cosy cocoon around the mattress that your dog can squish and squash to their heart's content but the bolster sides will always plump right back to shape. The four individual feather pads are easy to remove from the outer cover and are machine washable too.
Faroe - a beautiful upholstery fabric to stand the test of time
The look, feel and warmth of an upholstery quality wool without any of the downsides. Faroe feels gorgeous but it's resilient and robust - robust enough for heavy commercial upholstery use, with a Martindale Rub Test score of 100,000. The fibres in Faroe are also treated with a stain-guard that is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, so its a dream to spot clean in between washes.
Luxe it up with a Mini Bolster Pad or two!
Our Mini Bolster Pads were created for Anna (grand dame of our pack who lived to the ripe old age of 16) who needed a little more support and versatility from her beds to get comfy in her old age. They are brilliant for dogs that like to rest their chins or nestle their backs into something soft and cosy, and provide extra support for older dogs who find it harder to get comfy in bed in their advancing years. Waterproof Liner options
The Bliss Bolster Bed with Memory Foam Mattress is supplied with an anti-microbial waterproof mattress protector included. About our ethically-sourced duck feathers...
Our ethically sourced duck feather pads are made in England and our manufacturer sources the feathers that fill our pads from a Downpass certified feather supplier in Germany. This means that the feathers used in our pads are a by-product of the food industry and humanely sourced (i.e. not collected from live animals, nor from the foie gras industry).
