P'etiquette's collar sizes are listed with two lengths in inches (e.g. 10"-12" long). They are the measurements from the tip of the buckle to the start and end of the eyelets used for fastening the collar, not the actual length of the collar!
Measuring for your new collar
Geoff from P'etiquette says: "One of the easiest ways to measure for a new collar is to measure an existing collar that you know fits your dog comfortably. Lay the existing collar flat and then measure it from the tip of the buckle to the hole that you usually fasten the collar at on your dog. Don't measure the full length of the collar from one end to the other as that will be much longer than your dog's neck!"
Ordering the right size collar
Once you have measured your dog's existing collar you will now be able to choose the right size collar for your dog from our collection. Our collars are sized with 1" either side of the measurement that you have taken. For example, if the measurement taken (in line with our instructions above) is 11", you will need a 10-12" collar. If the measurement taken is 16" you will need to order a 15"-17" collar. This means that if your dog puts on a little bit of weight, or loses a little bit of weight, there will be eyelets either side for you to go up or go down when fastening the collar.
Shipping on P'etiquette collars and leads
P'etiquette collars and leads are made to order and usually delivered within 10 working days after receiving the order. During busy periods, e.g. the run up to Christmas, it may take slightly longer to deliver your order. The cost of shipping any P'etiquette products ordered within the UK Mainland is £5.00.
Please note the P'etiquette will dispatch your new collar/lead directly to you but you should always contact us at Charley Chau in relation to any enquiries regarding your order.
Returns, exchanges & refunds on P'etiquette orders
All collars and leads ordered from P'etiquette via the Charley Chau website are made-to-order so please do ensure that you have the right measurements before placing an order.
Please notify us by email within 14 days of receiving your collar, lead or brace coupler if you would like to request a refund or exchange.
If you are returning goods, please do so within 21 days of notifying us, and ensure that the products have not been used and that they are adequately packaged to protect them in transit. We reocmmend that you use a signed for service.
