The original Charley Chau Snuggle Bed for Dogs – our sleeping-bag style dog bed designed for dogs that love to sleep under blankets, finished with an outer cover in Faroe, a beautiful but hard-wearing upholstery fabric with FibreGuard TM stain guarding treatment built-in.

Perfect for any dog that loves to burrow and sleep under blankets including: short-coated hounds from Dachshunds to Hungarian Vizslas; Sighthounds, especially Italian Greyhounds and Whippets; and Terrier dogs who were bred to go to ground; plus many more.

  • Deep-filled luxury mattress makes the bed suitable for use directly on the floor and it is constructed with internal wall panels to stop the fibre filling from clumping so that the mattress stays soft and supportive over time - even after washing!
  • Fully removable outer cover and machine washable everything, including the mattress.

Please allow slightly more room for your dog when choosing a Snuggle Bed as Snuggle Beds need to be slightly larger than a standard dog bed that a dog would lie on top of because of the stitched in blanket top.

FibreGuard is manufactured without releasing harmful finishes or chemicals into the world and certified under the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®.

  • Exclusive Faux-Fur-Fleece Lining – soft and cosy, breathable and moisture-wicking. The cosy lining in our Snuggle Beds and Burrow Bags is knitted exclusively for Charley Chau to our exact specifications by a fabulous textiles mill in Yorkshire who we’ve been working with since 2010.

  • Deep-filled Luxury Mattress – key to comfort in any dog bed is the mattress and Charley Chau’s deep-filled mattress is constructed like a sofa seat cushion with internal baffles (wall panels) that minimise fibre-migration, to prevent unwelcome lumps and bumps from forming, even after washing. Designed to provide fabulous comfort and support over time and made in England with a polycotton casing and insulating hollowfibre inside.

  • Waterproof Liner (optional) -a soft, breathable waterproof fabric that acts as a barrier to dust, dirt and animal dander to keep your dog's bed hygienically clean for longer. This fabulously technical fabric is more commonly found on pillow protectors for humans in healthcare settings.

Machine washable everything with fully removable outer covers.

Outer covers, optional Waterproof Liners, and the deep-filled luxury mattress are all machine washable. Large size mattresses should be washed in a large capacity machine.

Washcare labels are stitched into every component part of a Charley Chau bed and blanket for ease of reference on wash days.
