Our Round Rattan Peel Dog Basket is designed to create a simple but stunning dog bed for your dog and your home. When ordered as a set with our deep-filled luxury mattress, there's a fabulous saving of 15% the regular price of both ordered on their own. 

This Rattan Peel Dog Basket is a labour of love - fine strips of rattan peel and rattan canes are woven together by hand with great skill and precision to create the intricate detail that makes this basket so beautiful. 

The Round Rattan Peel Dog Basket is available as a set with our deep-filled round mattress in Cosmo and Weave II, both deliver outstanding performance over time.  As you can see in the photos, the mattress sits high in the basket and is designed for your dog to sink into for sublime snoozes.

As you would expect from Charley Chau, the mattress is designed to stay soft and supportive over time even after washing, and the cover is fully removable and both the cover and mattress insert are machine washable.

Just off round in overall shape, the approximate dimensions of the Rattan Peel Baskets are:

  • Small - 55x53x20cm
  • Medium - 65x62x22.5cm
  • Large - 80x78x25.5cm

Please allow for slight variations as this product is handwoven with natural canes.

Round Rattan Peel Basket : hand woven with 100% Rattan Peel and Rattan Core.

Round Deep-Filled Mattress Outer Covers in Cosmo : upholstery quality 50/50% cotton and polyester blend.

Round Deep-Filled Mattress Outer Covers in Weave II : upholstery quality 100% polyester.

Deep-Filled Luxury Mattress Pad: 60/40% polycotton outer casing, 100% polyester hollowfibre (commonly found in human anti-allergy pillows).

Optional Antimicrobial Waterproof Bed Liner : 100% PU backed polyester.
Washcare

The Mattress: fully removable covers and machine washable everything, including the internal mattress pad. Each cover and mattress has a care label stitched onto the item for easy reference on wash day.

The Round Rattan Peel Dog Basket can be dusted with a dry, soft cloth or wiped with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. If a deep clean is required, the dog basket can be hosed down with water but please allow the basket to dry naturally and thoroughly - preferably in a warm, well ventilated room - before allowing your dog to use it again. Please do not use any strong chemical deteregents, cleaning sprays or bleach and do not use any abrasive materials to "scrub" the basket as they may damage the rattan peel.

Free UK Standard Shipping is available on orders over £150. Worldwide shipping is also available for all products exclcuing any treats that contain meat or dairy ingredients.

This product is usually available from stock for immediate dispatch. We aim to dispatch all orders received by 1pm on Mon-Fri on the same working day.
