  • Our Dog Snuggle Beds are lined inside with Charley Chau's exclusive Faux-Fur Fleece, knitted specially for us in the UK - super-soft and warm but breathable and moisture-wicking too.
  • Deep-filled luxury mattress makes the bed suitable for use directly on the floor and it is constructed with internal wall panels to stop the fibre filling from clumping so that the mattress stays soft and supportive over time - even after washing!
  • Fully removable outer cover and machine washable everything, including the mattress.
  • Anti-Microbial Waterproof Bed Liners available as an option to keep your dog's bed hygienically cleaner for longer - barrier protection from dirt and moisture and prevents the growth of fungi, bacteria and other micro-organisms.

  • Small - approx. 65x55cm - a good size for Chihuahuas, small Mini-Dachshunds, small Italian Greyhounds, and very tiny Jack Russells

  • Medium - approx. 80x60cm - a good size for Boston Terriers, French Bulldogs, Pugs, most Jack Russells, Mini-Dachshunds and taller Italian Greyhounds

  • Large - approx. 100x80cm - a good size for Whippets, Working Cocker Spaniels, Standard Dachshunds, small Lurchers & Hungarian Vizslas

Please allow slightly more room for your dog when choosing a Snuggle Bed as Snuggle Beds need to be slightly larger than a standard dog bed that a dog would lie on top of because of the stitched in blanket top.

Styled To Order Service

Our Styled To Order service is a bespoke, made-to-order service that offers our custoomers a fabulous, extended colour palette in our upholstery-quality fabrics beyond our ready to ship Core Collection colourways.

  • How long does it take? We aim to make each Styled To Order bed within 2-3 weeks from the order date.
  • Where do we make our Styled To Order Beds? Every single one is cut and sewn here in England.
  • How does it work? Simply choose your perfect colourway from the product page and place your order and we will create the perfect bed within 2-3 weeks.
  • Why is there a fee included in the price of Styled To Order items? Styled To Order is a premium service and the fee covers the additional cost of materials incurred when we order fabrics by the metre (approx. +30% compared to when we order our usual 40-50m rolls), and the extra time it takes to cut and sew an individual bed - significantly more than when we sewing large batches for our Core Collection e.g. to lay and cut one bed takes only fractionally less time than it takes to mark and cut 100 beds of the same size.
Fabrics & Fillings
  • Snuggle Bed Outer Cover in Faroe - the look and feel of a beautiful upholstery wool without the maintenance headache. Behind the stylish good looks are some serious performance credentials - a Martindale Rub Score of 100,000 (suitable for upholstery in severe contract settings) and a FibreGuard stain-guard treatment washed in. FibreGuard is manufactured without releasing harmful finishes or chemicals into the world and certified under the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®.

  • Exclusive Faux-Fur-Fleece Lining – soft and cosy, breathable and moisture-wicking. The cosy lining in our Snuggle Beds and Burrow Bags is knitted exclusively for Charley Chau to our exact specifications by a fabulous textiles mill in Yorkshire who we’ve been working with since 2010.

  • Deep-filled Luxury Mattress – key to comfort in any dog bed is the mattress and Charley Chau’s deep-filled mattress is constructed like a sofa seat cushion with internal baffles (wall panels) that minimise fibre-migration, to prevent unwelcome lumps and bumps from forming, even after washing. Designed to provide fabulous comfort and support over time and made in England with a polycotton casing and insulating hollowfibre inside.

  • Waterproof Liner (optional) -a soft, breathable waterproof fabric that acts as a barrier to dust, dirt and animal dander to keep your dog's bed hygienically clean for longer. This fabulously technical fabric is more commonly found on pillow protectors for humans in healthcare settings.
Washcare

Machine washable everything with fully removable outer covers.

Outer covers, optional Waterproof Liners, and the deep-filled luxury mattress are all machine washable. Large size mattresses should be washed in a large capacity machine.
Shipping

Free UK Standard Shipping is available on orders over £150. Worldwide shipping is also available for all products excluding any treats that contain meat or dairy ingredients.

This product is usually available from stock for immediate dispatch. We aim to dispatch all orders received by 1pm on Mon-Fri on the same working day.
