We're thrilled to launch the Utility Collection, bringing together four of our most-loved Charley Chau bed designs in Dry Wax Cotton Canvas — a genuinely tough, water-resistant fabric built for dogs who enjoy getting mucky outdoors, without sacrificing the deep-filled comfort every Charley Chau bed is known for. These are rugged, tough dog beds first and foremost, but comfort was never up for negotiation.

Dry Wax Cotton Canvas - a high-tech textile with great British heritage

A modern evolution of traditional waxed cotton, made famous by the iconic Barbour jacket. Like true waxed cotton, it develops the same weathered, "lived-in" patina over time, but without the wet wax itself — dry to the touch from day one, and machine washable too.

Water-resistant dog beds that wipe clean and deep clean

Wipe-clean for the everyday mess, and fully machine washable for the deeper cleans every dog bed eventually needs. Not something you can take for granted: many water-resistant dog beds rely on coatings that break down in the wash.
