* The Classic Snuggle Bed is perfect for any dog that loves to burrow and sleep under blankets including: short-coated hounds from Dachshunds to Hungarian Vizslas; Sighthounds, especially Italian Greyhounds and Whippets; and Terrier dogs who were bred to go to ground; plus many more.

* The outer cover is made with Velour or Faroe, both are upholstery quality fabrics that have been tried and tested by thousands of our customers over the years, and proven to deliver exceptional performance over time.

* Our Classic Snuggle Dog Bed is lined inside with Charley Chau's exclusive Faux-Fur Fleece, knitted specially for us in the UK - super-soft and warm but breathable and moisture-wicking too.

* Deep-filled luxury mattress makes the bed suitable for use directly on the floor and its constructed with internal wall panels to stop the fibre filling from clumping so that the mattress stays soft and supportive over time - even after washing.

* Fully removable outer cover and machine washable everything, including the mattress.

The Styled To Order service is a special made-to-order service for customers who would like a Charley Chau Dog Snuggle Bed in a colourway that is not already available in our Core Collection of Dog Snuggle Beds.

* We aim to dispatch each Styled To Order bed in 2-3 weeks from the date of order.

* Each Styled To Order bed is cut and sewn to order by our fabulous sewing team here in England to the same exceptional standards as all Charley Chau beds.

* Simply choose the perfect bed, size, fabric and colourway and place your order. We will then cut and sew the bed to order to create the perfect bed for your dog and your home.

* Styled To Order Fee - a service fee is included in the price of all Styled To Order Beds. This fee covers the increased cost of materials incurred when we order fabrics by the metre (approx. +30% compared to when we order our usual 40-50m rolls), as well as the time it takes to cut and sew an individual bed which is significantly more than when we are sewing large batches for our Core Collection e.g. to lay and mark out one bed for cutting takes only fractionally less time than it takes to mark and cut 100 beds of the same size.

• Small - approx. 65x55cm - a good size for Chihuahuas, small Mini-Dachshunds, small Italian Greyhounds, and very tiny Jack Russells

• Medium - approx. 80x60cm - a good size for Boston Terriers, French Bulldogs, Pugs, most Jack Russells, Mini-Dachshunds and taller Italian Greyhounds

• Large - approx. 100x80cm - a good size for Whippets, Working Cocker Spaniels, Standard Dachshunds, small Lurchers & Hungarian Vizslas

Please allow slightly more room for your dog when choosing a Snuggle Bed as Snuggle Beds need to be slightly larger than a standard dog bed that a dog would lie on top of because of the stitched in blanket top.

• Snuggle Bed Outer Cover in Velour - velvety soft, a beautiful upholstery fabric that is commonly found on smart sofas and armchairs. For those who like to know about detail, Velour is knitted, while Velvet is woven. Our upholstery Velour has a Martindale Rub Score of 50,000 (suitable for upholstery use in commercial settings) and eco conscious – this gorgeous fabric is knitted with polyester yarns made entirely from recycled plastic bottles! There’s a lot to love about Velour beyond the stunning good looks.

• Snuggle Bed Outer Cover in Faroe - the look and feel of a beautiful upholstery wool without the maintenance headache. Behind the stylish good looks are some serious performance credentials - a Martindale Rub Score of 100,000 (suitable for upholstery in severe contract settings) and a FibreGuard stain-guard treatment washed in. FibreGuard is manufactured without releasing harmful finishes or chemicals into the world and certified under the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®.

• Exclusive Faux-Fur-Fleece Lining – soft and cosy, breathable and moisture-wicking. The cosy lining in our Snuggle Beds and Burrow Bags is knitted exclusively for Charley Chau to our exact specifications by a fabulous textiles mill in Yorkshire who we’ve been working with since 2010.

• Deep-filled Luxury Mattress – key to comfort in any dog bed is the mattress and Charley Chau’s deep-filled mattress is constructed like a sofa seat cushion with internal baffles (wall panels) that minimise fibre-migration, to prevent unwelcome lumps and bumps from forming, even after washing. Designed to provide fabulous comfort and support over time and made in England with a polycotton casing and insulating hollowfibre inside.

• Waterproof Liner (optional) -a soft, breathable waterproof fabric that acts as a barrier to dust, dirt and animal dander to keep your dog's bed hygienically clean for longer. This fabulously technical fabric is more commonly found on pillow protectors for humans in healthcare settings.

Machine washable everything with fully removable outer covers.

Outer covers, optional Waterproof Liners, and the deep-filled luxury mattress are all machine washable. Large size mattresses should be washed in a large capacity machine.
