Service update: International Deliveries outside the UK
It is with much sadness and deep frustration that we have had to suspend dispatch of all orders going to countries outside the UK - this is a direct result of the sudden border closures because of Covid and the chaos that is Brexit.
If you are ordering for delivery outside the UK whether in the EU or the rest of the world, you are still able to place your order on our website but we will hold your order and we expect to ship it in the week commencing 11 January 2021 - the date when most courier companies are expecting to have some clarity on the trading situation.
We are so, so upset that we are not able to send any parcels overseas - we use major couriers including Fedex, DHL, UPS and DPD and all have ceased to collect parcels for international shipment as of today. We are obviously waiting for more news and will update this page as it comes in.
We are absolutely gutted for our lovely customers across the world. We can only hope that those in Government here in the UK and the EU can make a plan that actually allows businesses in the UK to resume trading with our friends in the rest of the world.
There was already significant disruption and concern as a result of the ongoing uncertainty around Brexit and the sudden and unforeseen closure of international borders to UK passenger and freight traffic announced by many countries from Sunday 20 December (see BBC News article) because of the discovery of a mutation in the Covid virus in the UK has been the final nail in the coffin for now.
To our lovely customers around the world - we are so sorry that we are unable to send your parcels until January.
As soon as we have more information we will update this page.
In the meantime, we wish you and your families well and we look forward to a happier and healthier New Year for all.
Best wishes,
Christine & Jenny
